Technical Issues

My server isn’t starting

If your server fails to start, first check your server logs in the Maniaservers panel.

If you see the error “This player does not exist”:

This means you haven’t created your server account yet. Please follow the Creating and linking the Server Account guide to create your server login and password on the Trackmania/Maniplanet player page.

After creating the server account, add the login and password in the Configuration page of your server in the Maniaservers panel.

For other errors

Open a support ticket on Discord  and our team will help you diagnose the issue.

Account & Subscription

I forgot my password. How can I change it?

The password change feature is not available from the panel. The only alternative option for now is:

  1. Create a new account in the Maniaservers panel
  2. Open a support ticket on Discord 
  3. Request in the support ticket to transfer your server(s) to your new account.

How can I upgrade or downgrade my server slots?

To upgrade or downgrade the number of player slots on your server:

  1. Open a support ticket on Discord 
  2. Request a slot upgrade or downgrade
  3. We will send you a bill with the prorated price difference for the remaining period of the current month
ℹ️

Slot changes are currently a manual process. This feature will be added to the panel in the future.

Can my friend manage my server through the panel?

We don’t currently offer a feature to add multiple managers to a panel account. However, what most people do (especially for team servers) is:

  1. Create a shared account in the Maniaservers panel
  2. Share the credentials with trusted team members
  3. Everyone can then use the same account to manage the server

Only share panel credentials with people you trust, as they will have full access to manage your servers.

Server Features

Do you have FTP access?

No, we don’t offer FTP access to servers. Most common needs are covered through:

  • The Maniaservers panel
  • Server controllers (PyPlanet, ManiaControl)

If you need something specific that’s not available through these tools, you can open a support ticket on Discord  to discuss your requirements.

What games do you support?

Maniaservers supports:

  • TrackMania 2020 (the latest TrackMania)
  • TrackMania 2 / ManiaPlanet (includes Stadium, Canyon, Valley, Lagoon and all other titlepacks)

We do not support TrackMania Nations Forever (TMNF).

Controllers & Plugins

I would like to add a PyPlanet plugin not present in the Maniaservers panel

To request a new PyPlanet plugin:

  1. Open a support ticket on Discord 
  2. Provide the plugin name and a link to its repository
  3. Our team will review the plugin
  4. If we determine it would be useful for the community and meets our quality/security standards, we’ll add it to the panel

We carefully evaluate each plugin request to ensure quality and security for all users.

  3. A private channel will be created where our team can assist you
